Calista Organic Hotel

I don’t leave 1 ✩ reviews often but I feel deeply that this is an unsafe, unhygienic, and unsettling place to stay. Like others have mentioned, the reviews that are 5 ✩ seem to be fake or purchased. Concerns with our stay: There is no locking mechanism other than the door code (which does not change between stays). The peephole was missing and so paper towel was stuffed into the hole instead (easily dislodged). The elevator was broken so I had to haul luggage up three flights. The entire floor was thick with smoke from pot. Safety alarms (monoxide, fire) were removed from the walls. The windows in the room would not open. The toilet was broken (did not flush and was very loud). There was no soap in the entire hotel room. There was shampoo and conditioner with missing lids on the floor of the shower. There’s much more but these are the most alarming bits worth mentioning. I would like to add a caveat that if you’re looking for a cheap stay in a nice area, this could be a good find. But it’s not what was advertised and we were not prepared for this sort of stay.

Horrible, the room walls had stains of god knows what, whole building/rooms smelled like piss. Sheets were also smelly/dirty, horrible experience (literally was there for 10 minutes) Booked via Expedia and tried to ask for a refund cause I didn’t stayed there and hotel management was non existent, nor helpful. Horrible place, never go there.

My recent stay at Calista Organic Hotel was exceptional. The staff's warmth and professionalism, coupled with well-appointed rooms and excellent amenities, made it a home away from home. Conveniently located in the heart of City, I highly recommend Calista Organic Hotel for its outstanding service and prime location. I look forward to returning on my next visit.

I booked this hotel to stay for four nights, but gave up just after entering the room. After guessing that the elevator did not work (there is no one at the counter), I had to carry all my luggage four floors up to encounter an extremely dirty room (stains on the towels and bedsheets). During the walk up, you can notice multiple rooms with signs of broken locks if you are able to ignore how dirty the floors look. Definitely not recommended.

Well rated hotel on Google, unfortunately I checked the reviews in details only after our stay. Before I just checked the overall rating. It seems all 5* reviews (or most of them) are fake. Giving 5 stars for those services which do not exist. Room was not ready when we arrived, could wait an hour no problem. Window in the room was so dirty it was hard to see the street. The stairs and corridor also always dirty. Handle in the shower replaced by a plastic bag. Door lock does not seem safe. You can see on the door that many times someone tried to brake into the room. Strange people on the ground floor, or just lying on the stairs. Do not recommend this hotel.
